Traditional analog impact printing and die cutting compress and weaken corrugated board. The industry compensates for this damage by using heavier board weight. Non-impact digital printing and digital die cutting, even with real crease lines, avoid this damage, allowing usage of lighter boards and delivering financial and environmental cost savings. In his presentation, Simon will review how these lighter weight boards deliver the same or better performance and seek to quantify the dividend.
